The Gala will take place at the Oakville estate of Nickel & Nickel, part of Far Niente Wine Estates, and will open the festival’s 20th Anniversary Summer Season. Festival Napa Valley said the Arts for All Gala is one of the nation’s major fundraising events supporting education and the arts. Since its founding, the event has raised more than $33 million to fund music education, wellness programs, scholarships, and free or affordable concerts serving youth, seniors, and families across the region.

“Wynton Marsalis is an extraordinary artist whose work embodies excellence, integrity, and music’s ability to unite. Celebrating our 20th Anniversary with Wynton honors the Festival’s legacy, affirms its enduring commitment to artistry with purpose, and promises a Gala our guests will long remember,” said Mary Beth Shimmon, Gala Chair of Festival Napa Valley.

Marsalis has performed and recorded for more than four decades and currently serves as Managing and Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Director of Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School, and President of the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation.

Festival Napa Valley stated that the evening will include a multi-course dinner prepared by chef Dustin Valette, with wine pairings from Far Niente Wine Estates, followed by a live auction led by auctioneer Lydia Fenet. Proceeds from the Gala will support the organization’s year-round programs and initiatives.

The festival’s 20th Anniversary Summer Season is scheduled to run from July 4 through July 19, 2026, at venues throughout Napa Valley.
