YOUNTVILLE, Calif., July 17, 2026, (CALIFORNIA NEWS TODAY) — Sttupa Estate Napa Valley has been nominated as one of USA TODAY's 10 Best Wine Country Hotels in America as part of the publication's annual 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards.
Public voting is open through July 20, with readers selecting winners in the travel awards program.
The nomination follows the property's rebranding from Poetry Inn to Sttupa Estate Napa Valley last year. According to the company, the name change marked a new chapter for the boutique hotel while maintaining its emphasis on private accommodations and personalized guest experiences.
Since the rebranding, the property has also been featured on the cover of Wine Spectator's Ultimate Travel Guide to Napa Valley issue and recognized by San Francisco Magazine.
“We are honored to be nominated for this recognition. We remain deeply committed to the long-standing relationships we have cultivated with our guests, while thoughtfully elevating the hospitality experience that has made this property such an unforgettable retreat,” said Scott Trace, Director of Operations at Sttupa Estate Napa Valley.
Located on a hillside overlooking Yountville, the adults-only boutique hotel offers overnight accommodations and full-property reservations. Originally opened as Poetry Inn in 2005, the property was renamed Sttupa Estate Napa Valley following a change in ownership in 2024.
Designed by architect Howard Backen, the estate features luxury guest suites, an outdoor pool, spa facilities, private hiking trail access and concierge services. Guests also have access to curated winery visits, dining reservations and other local experiences.
