Impact Lighting Installs Fiber Optic Star Ceiling at Selva Tequila Bar in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 5, 2026 (CALIFORNIA NEWS TODAY) — Lighting design company Impact Lighting Inc. has completed a fiber optic star ceiling installation at Selva, a luxury tequila bar and lounge in downtown San Jose.

The installation features Impact Lighting’s EpiXsky Star Ceiling System and is designed to enhance Selva’s “Immersive Jungle Escape” concept. The venue, located at 44 S Almaden Ave., transitions from a cocktail lounge setting in the early evening to a nightlife destination featuring DJs and live entertainment.
The ceiling incorporates high-density fiber optic points designed to resemble natural constellations and uses flicker technology to simulate a twinkling effect. The lighting is intended to create the appearance of an open-air canopy within the indoor space.
“Our star ceiling creates an immersive cinematic backdrop that elevates the visual experience at the luxury tequila bar, turning a night out into an incredible customer experience for every guest,” said Paul Koren, President of Impact Lighting.
The project follows a previous installation at Leila in San Diego.
Selva is a luxury tequila bar offering a jungle-themed environment that shifts from a hospitality-focused cocktail setting to a late-night entertainment venue.
